L'angolo mio del accademia

This is my little corner of the academy. I have been developing my painting process, with egg tempera. It is a combination of techniques I have picked up over the last few years. These are two paintings I have done exploring the process. Its not exactly what I am looking for but they are getting close. I'm working on a large one which is working out even better.

1st Day Spring Semester

The old entrance.

Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma

Its the first day of the new semester at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. They have changed the entrance to the academy, or more likely restored the old entrance. Now we enter from the court yard instead of from the street. I feel it is going to be a great semester. I'm excited to paint.
